


CLUSTER. Symphony of Data invites the public to participate in an immersive experience, generated thanks to the real-time processing and translation of data from the Atlas experiment. Shown to the public through a combination of lasers, video projections, and generative sounds, events and numerical values are transformed into a visual-audio composition in which the subatomic collisions that produce the Higgs boson are represented on a screen ideally reminiscent of a section of Atlas.
The resulting choreography of light, form, and sound reflects the complexity and beauty of particle physics. The viewer is engaged in an audiovisual narrative that oscillates between scientific precision and artistic sensitivity, between the order of data and the chaos of sensory interpretations. An open laboratory, where art and science meet and actively collaborate to construct new perspectives on reality, enhancing the intersection of different skills, sensibilities, and languages.

Italian projects funded by NextGenerationEU
ELIA is proud to support its Italian members’ Artistic Research projects funded by the NextGenerationEU Funds for the period 2024-2026. These projects are crucial opportunities to solidify the recognition of, and infrastructure for Artistic Research in Italy.
The Enacting Artistic Research (EAR) project aims to leverage research as a strategic tool for the internationalisation of Higher Education for Art, Music and Dance (AFAM).
EAR focuses on three main objectives: integrating art and science by promoting the use of advanced technologies to enhance cultural heritage in a global context; fostering international collaborations between AFAM and scientific institutions to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and methodologies; and increasing accessibility to cultural heritage by using technology, overcoming both physical and digital barriers.
